About Kim
Kim McGuire has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare field. She started her career at Health Net in the proposal development department, then moved to Medicare Sales as an Account Manager before finally becoming Manager, Medicare Account Management/Sales. She effectively managed more than 200 employer groups, retaining 98% of her customers year after year. Kim was also responsible for new business sales, implementation, and administrative management, developing strong working relationships with clients, brokers, and consultants to generate new business. In addition, she introduced new Medicare products to the Connecticut Small Employer market, giving employers more flexibility and price points. Kim’s most recent position was Director of Sales and Account Management, Retiree Programs at an independent brokerage agency specializing in medical and prescription drug solutions for Medicare beneficiaries.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration from Quinnipiac University and a Master of Public Administration Concentration in Health Policy and Management specializing in Health Services Management from New York University Wagner School of Public Service. In addition, Kim is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration specializing in Health Care Administration from Northcentral University.
