Growing Options is a resource for families in Western Connecticut who want assistance in balancing the increasing needs of their elderly loved ones, while maintaining their own responsibilities at work and home.
Our Services
During the initial phase, the GCM conducts a careful assessment of the individual’s needs by evaluating his or her physical, cognitive, emotional, financial and psychological condition.
Based on this assessment, Growing Options will develop a care plan to enable the client to remain in home as long as possible.
As needed, we may then arrange a variety of services and act as a liaison between the client and those contracted to provide the services.
This phase is carried out with a goal of preserving independence and maintaining the safety and dignity of the client.
About Lisa
Lisa J. Krauss is a Professional Geriatric Care Manager with more than 30 years experience in the health care field. Most recently, she was the Director of Social Services at a skilled nursing facility in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Lisa's extensive experience and knowledge of area resources makes her an invaluable asset for families looking for guidance to best care for their aging relatives. She understands the numerous and varied challenges that arise when a loved one needs help during the aging process.
